Hello. I’m Alex Wright.

With over 25 years experience in commercial photography, I can adapt to your photographic requirements and ensure you get the best results to promote, advertise or showcase your business and products.

I started teneight in 2008 with my partner Lucy Keenan who studied design and photography at Camberwell College, London. Prior to running this business I worked for McCann Manchester and way back in the late 90’s I trained with one of the top photographers in Manchester, working mainly for adidas, with their sponsored athletes throughout the UK and Europe. I’ve always worked in photography since deciding at the age of 11 it was what I wanted to do.

We have a studio in Macclesfield, Cheshire where we have the space to build small room sets if necessary. I’d be delighted to discuss any project with you and willingly contravene the stereotype of working with children and animals.

When I’m not behind the camera, I spend a lot of time running on the stunning trails we are surrounded by in the Peak District. We love to run and explore new places as a family with our dog. I love it so much, I’ve taken on quite a few big challenges like running 100 miles in 24 hours or going up and down the same hill for 9 hours. I carry the same drive and determination into the projects I am commissioned to work on.
